The very first and most important step is to determine the size of the heater you need. Heaters are rated in BTUs (a BTU is a measure of potential heat output).
The most accurate way to determine the number of BTUs you need is to have us perform a heat-loss calculation. However, we also have a rule of thumb, which works really well: Take the volume of your room (length x width x height) and multiply that by 5 for really good insulation, 10 for almost no insulation or somewhere in the middle for average insulation.
Once we determine your room’s BTU needs, we will help you select the best model for your space, decor and building structure from among various venting styles, including direct-vent wall heaters, vent-free gas heaters and natural vent gas space heaters.
We have many sizes and styles available from the world’s most trusted manufacturers.
